“ We absolutely LOVE visiting this restaurant. Many decades later they're still providing extremely good customer service and DELICIOUS food. One thing for sure, ARRIVE HUNGRY, cause the portions are HUGE! Their menu has something for everybody. Oh, and leave room for dessert, so yummy. The ambiance is family style and VERY clean. Prices are fair compared to what you get. Ample parking too. STARS is our "go to" spot back when we were raising our kids, now we're bringing our grandkids:) ”
“ I was looking around on doordash and was hoping to find something late that had a breakfast option. Stars restaurant was the only one that had a breakfast option which was very refreshing. Since there aren't many places here in Ukiah that do late breakfast. I had a great experience. I called in and asked about the tea. If there were any other options other than black tea. The person who answered the phone is very friendly and very helpful. The place the order to be delivered and didn't wait too long about a 15-minute wait. When the food arrived it was fresh. It was warm. Everything was perfect! I'm usually having a hard time trying new places but everything was so good! It's great for the price and what you get. Also you have to try the tea. Raspberry tea is amazing here! Overall, I would recommend stars if you're looking for some late breakfast options here in Ukiah. ”

“ We were in Ukiah and happened upon Stars. It's a great diner! There was plenty of good food and prepared well. You won't leave there hungry. I had the steak and spaghetti. The spaghetti was great, the steak not so much. Yan had the fajita combo. She liked it! The waitress was smiling and saw to us quickly. Great service. This Stars has been in Ukiah for years. It could use a remodel but it's still passable. Check them out... They have not only a menu, their menu is a book.. ”
“ We celebrated my son's birthday at Star's restaurant today. The staff was friendly and genuinely wanted us to have a great experience. The restaurant has a relaxing ambiance. I am an extremely picky eater but I was impressed by the food quality. I ordered the "Star's chicken wrap" and it was delicious! My husband ordered the "Joe's skillet" and he was a happy camper. My daughter ordered chicken fettuccine pasta that came with a side salad-portions are huge! My two boys each had an Oreo milkshake with chicken strips and fries/fruits. Our waitress was a sweetheart, she came out with some of the cooks and sang happy birthday to my son. She also surprised him with a Neapolitan ice cream sundae. We are so happy and grateful to Star's restaurant & staff for making my son's birthday dinner extra special. Thank you & see you soon! ”
“ Simple traditional diner all the locals come here. For lunch breakfast and dinner. Open late and they serve breakfast all day. Prices are a little steep but big quantities. Good kids menu with $8.45 for most meals and wide variety. (Oct 2023) Lots of wraps and the fajitas are also delicious with a lot of meat. Good quick service too ”
“ I ordered the tri-tip French dip and man...it was delicious! The sandwich was generous with a lot of tri-tip and it wasn't too salty as it is at other places. Yes, it's a bit overpriced, but I was very pleased with the sandwich so I'd say it's worth it. Service is a little slow as we sat outside and had to remind them that we were there so that we could take our order. But once the food came out, we were set and they checked on us one more time. I'd come back for that sandwich as it was great! ”
